چکیده :

The speed of information growth is increasing with the emergence of electronic devices, internet infrastructure, and emerging solutions. The expansion of healthcare services, multiple stakeholders with multiple goals, and medical, ethical, and financial challenges have complicated the development of hospital environments. The concept of a smart hospital is an extension of a digital hospital in which, in addition to integrating stored data and communicating with other medical centers, efforts are made to create new data-based capabilities and insights by analyzing data and reacting in time. In this research, the technologies that make a hospital smart are identified and presented by investigating academic research and industrial sources. Also, several use cases of the most widely used technologies are provided. The gap between academia and industry regarding smart health technologies is discussed. This research helps information technology specialists and hospital managers to have a more comprehensive view of smart hospital technologies. Future research opportunities for researchers are also discussed.
