Speech Abstract: "As enterprises and societies at large begin to face new challenges, risks, and disruptions, we Enterprise Architects must up our game and collaborate with more stakeholders than ever before to ensure business continuity and roll out strong risk management. This keynote will present a holistic Enterprise Architecture approach fit for the new circumstances that a VUCA world brings."
Dr. John Gøtze holds a Ph.D. (techn.) from 1997, and a M.Sc. (Engineering) from 1993. Both from the Technical University of Denmark, with guest studies in England and Japan. He is Editor-in-Chief of QualiWare Center of Excellence, and a lecturer and program manager at the IT-University of Copenhagen. He is also a non-tenured associate professor at Copenhagen Business School. He preaches and teaches enterprise architecture, standardization, architecture governance, digital leadership, strategic planning, communities of practice and much more.
Until he went bootstrapping in late 2005, he was chief consultant in the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation’s IT and Telecom Agency, where he worked from 2001. Prior to that, from 1997-2001, he was head of section at the Swedish Agency for Public Management in Stockholm. he was President of the Association of Enterprise Architects from 2006-2010. he was the Chief Editor of the Journal of Enterprise Architecture 2010-2013. He is CEO and co-founder of EA Fellows, his EA-certification platform.
2. Dr. Zohreh Pourzolfaghar
Speech Title: "Enterprise Architecture Management for Smart Cities"
Zohreh Pourzolfaghar is an assistant Professor in Management Information system at National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Formerly, she has been Research Fellow founded by Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software, at Innovation Value Institute, Maynooth. She is a senior research member of the Business Informatics Group.
She is a senior research member of the Business Informatics Group. She is the theme lead in a project investigating the application of Enterprise Architecture in Smart Cities, funded by Science Foundation Ireland (SFI). She has been Principle Investigator for an Industry Fellowship Programme, funded by SFI. Zohreh presented her work at international conferences and has published research in Journals and Conference Proceedings. Zohreh is also leading research within the Cost Action CA16222 (WISE-ACT), a European-wide network. She has been thematic lead in a successful European Marie Curie PERFORM project. She is a member of the supervisory board of the EU project PERFORM, that focuses on Digital Retail. She has been awarded the SFI industry fellowship (2018) working with industry on topics related to Smart Cities and Building Information Management. She is the Co-PI for submitted H202 Techland proposal. Zohreh received her Ph.D. in Project Management in design process of building projects. Zohreh has years of experience working with project-oriented construction companies to improve organisatioanal productivity and their work processes.
