Designing a Comprehensive Capability Map for Digital Era

چکیده :

Nowadays, disruptive technologies are emerging much faster than before, new players are challenging incumbents by leveraging novel business models and new technologies, the boundaries between industries are blurring, and in general, organizations have entered a new paradigm which is called digital era. They are struggling to adopt to new paradigm but many of them fail because surviving and thriving in this new era requires new capabilities. This article main goal is to help organizations to build capabilities which are essential for digital age. It addresses this goal by providing a holistic view and introducing a capability-based and multi-business model called Ribod Digital Capability Map. The model empowers managers, consultants, experts and other digital transformation players to devise a comprehensive plan for transforming an organization.
